What We Do
We collect food from supermarkets, farms, community gardens, and individuals that would otherwise go to waste.
Who Is Welcome
Anyone is welcome to come along and take what they need for free. We are not a food bank—our goal is purely to keep good food out of landfills. While we do not limit what people take, we ask that you only take enough for one household. Please remember to bring your own bags, as we do not supply them.
How You Can Help
While everything at the Free Shop is completely free, community donations help cover the essential running costs of the project.
The Petersfield Free Shop is one of several local community projects operating under the umbrella of Hampshire Community Rail Partnership (HCRP). You can choose to support the Free Shop directly using the donation box below, or explore our other local initiatives across the region.
